I'm realizing that it's going to be a busy few days and weeks ahead. Could be great though, especially if good news comes through from a few people in particular (speaking of potential shooting opportunities here).

First on the block is the old Weston crit, going down tonight at 7 sharp. Tomorrow night its SRez at the new House of Blues in the city, then on Thursday it's Mike C at the Draft. Friday I'm off to the BKL Festival, and Sunday to Taos, hopefully for some sweet pow skiing (speaking of pow skiing, check this out) ,and potentially some shooting.
The following week I've got the J2 festival lined up, and hopefully another gig that I'm not mentioning for fear of jinxing it.

Justin here didn't get the win he wanted at Craftsbury this year, but he did win the Fox Trot Eastern Cup this past weekend, which I guess that's reason enough to get his picture up. Gotta get these guys to stop posing with their skis though - it's not a sponsor plug...

One final note, speaking of winning, must mention my former SMS room mate Gus Kaeding. This weekend in the Birkie classic he managed to beat Bjorn effing Daehlie in a sprint to the finish for the win.
I don't know who Johnny Klister is, but I think he pretty much summed it up.

It's been a fun week of microbiology homework, with a pretty solid Tuesday night showdown sprinkled in. More on that at some point I suppose.
Until then you can chew on the results of the Fasterskier photo contest.
btw this is Brayt at Craftsbury.

Finally sat down to play around with this one and I think it came out ok. Wish I'd use a slower shutter speed here to add some background blur and make Southam really pop out, cause it just doesn't look right to fake that in photoshop.

And now it's back to real life again, which means some serious microbiology reading and quiz cramming. Hopefully I can set aside some time for Weston tonight but I'm off to a slow start here and the weather looks potentially rainy. These 40-50 degree temps in February really make it seem like winter's already over...
